Sabers’ Boys Varsity Volleyball Overtakes Londonderry 3-1

June 1, 2016

Nearing the closing of May, the Souhegan Boys Varsity Volleyball team traveled all the way to Londonderry in hope of picking up a strong win. With Ely Marciano and Josh Massa dishing out great serves and accurate sets, it wasn’t too hard to pull their team close to a victory. Souhegan’s Alex Craven, Josh Anson, and Zack Cooper also played a part both defensively and offensively with several impressive hits and digs. Raj Gandhi helped turn a defensive play into an offensive one in blocking Londonderry’s hits on many occasions and assisting the Souhegan back row. All of these performances together sealed the deal for a Saber win of 3 games to 1. The last volleyball game for Souhegan was yesterday, May 31 at home against Pinkerton. Junior Varsity played at 4:30 and Varsity played directly after at 6. It was the last regular season game, but the Sabers Varsity and J.V. could not get the win. However, still cheer on the team for the oncoming playoffs!
