Jazz Up Any Holiday Party with Toffee

Christmas Toffee
This Christmas toffee will jazz up any holiday party, and it’s great for a last minute gift. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and salty….you’ll want to make it all year long!
Ingredients:
¾ cup sugar
1 ½ stick butter
1 sleeve saltine crackers
1 ½ cups chocolate chips
Crushed candy cane (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Melt butter and mix with sugar. Lay out saltines on a baking sheet and pour over butter mixture. Bake for 12-15 minutes. After they have cooled for about 5 minutes, pour over chocolate chips and let melt. Spread with a spatula. Sprinkle crushed candy cane over top of desired. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Break Toffee into pieces and enjoy!
