This weeks’s community council was short and sweet with few things to discuss.

There will be a forum in the next couple weeks, so be looking out for the news from your advisors.

The new Snow Day Schedule proposal was discussed among council.  This proposal would skip the following white day if a snow day were to happen, and if a snow day occurred on a white day, it would skip that day and proceed with a gold day.  Some are concerned that this would cause a lot of confusion for students.  This confusion could cause students with early free periods to miss class, or bring the wrong materials for a differently scheduled class.  Although it is the students’ responsibility to be aware of the schedule, this change could create accidental mistakes.  This proposal has been tabled for next week.
