Souhegan High School Boys’ Varsity lacrosse team started the season off right with a strong win over Manchester Central. The teams played at Central’s field on Monday, April 9 at 6 PM. This was the first game of the season for both teams; however, Souhegan was able to get the win. With many contributors to the score sheet, such as Ethan Hopey (Senior) with four goals, Nick Jordan (Junior) with two goals, Riley Lawhorn (Freshman) with three goals and two assists, and Tyler Hall (Junior), Jack Manning (Junior), Nick Garcia (Senior) with one goal each. The Sabers’ faceoffs were also key to their success as Freshman, Jake Civiello, won 15/16 of the faceoffs.

The Sabers’ look ahead to their next game against Merrimack at Souhegan.
