Four RBI Day for Daniel Trzepacz Leads Souhegan Sabers Past Kingswood

The Souhegan Sabers are able to beat out Kingswood in a close game on Wednesday, May 9. The Sabers had multiple standout plays and players. One of which was Daniel Trzepacz who wasted no opportunities at the plate on Wednesday, driving in four on three hits to lead Souhegan Sabers past Kingswood 11-8. Trzepacz drove in runs on a double in the third and a double in the fourth. The Sabers collected ten hits in the high-scoring affair.

Kingswood got things moving, however, in the second inning scoring four run and the early lead. But, Souhegan pulled away for good with five runs in the third inning.  The big hit of the inning was a Trzepacz double on the first pitch at-bat, scoring two runs.

Max Leonard earned the win for the Sabers. He lasted five innings, allowing nine hits and seven runs while striking out five. Robert Henline threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Henline recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Souhegan. Another big hitter for Souhegan was Sam Corbett who racked up multiple hits (3 hits). The Saber defense was led by catcher Caelan Behn and Max Leonard glove in center field the last two innings.
