Saber Nation Saves Lives!

January 13, 2019

Approximately 250 SHS Winter Sport Athletes from SHS participated in a Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training event on Monday January 7, 2019 at Souhegan High School.  Dr. Jim Flynn, a cardiologist from Catholic Medical Center (CMC) in Manchester NH, led the athletes in a CPR training exercise and provided valuable information on how an AED is used. Local EMTs, school nurses, Alkemy Partners, and SHS Coaches and Staff were on hand to help students practice this life saving skill.  The American Heart Association (AHA) has as a national goal of having all high school students graduate with training in CPR and Saber Nation is doing their part to Save Lives!
