The Souhegan Literary and Arts Magazine, also known as SLAM, is the product of Abbie Robinson’s Girl Scout Gold Award. The Gold Award is the highest award an Ambassador Girl Scout can achieve. The magazine is composed of Souhegan student poetry, drawings, short stories, and photography. Some artists include Rachel Mazur, Jay Levesque, and Erin Taylor. Robinson gathered submissions throughout the school year and has been designing the website during the stay-at-home order. She has worked over 80 hours on this project and hopes everyone enjoys it. She also is hoping for more submissions in the fall for next year’s edition. The magazine is linked from the Claw and will be announced on many other local publications.
