Hugs and tears, on Tuesday night at Jenna DeAngelis’s vigil. On August 23, 2020, Jenna was driving on Route 101 when she crashed and rolled over. She was pronounced dead on the scene. The investigation is still ongoing and I will update this article if anything new comes to light. My heart goes out to the family and friends of Jenna DeAngelis.

Jenna was #11 on the Milford softball team. I attended the vigil of Jenna’s on Tuesday night, along with 120-170 other people, at Keyes Field, right at the softball field. Candles were gathered on the dugout benches. Members of the Milford Softball team spoke at the vigil, along with the coach. Afterwards, candles were provided and everyone grabbed one and lit it. We then stood around the field for a moment of silence. Shortly after, everyone placed their candles in the middle, at the pitchers mound, which Jenna stood on not long before.

“She had an infectious smile and a welcoming personality”, says the Milford Softball team.
